VEGAN 15 minute edible cookie dough cups (no chickpeas lol)

15 minutes. 8 ingredients. 6 steps. Plsssss how CUTE. Cookie dough is a proper comfort food. This one is completely safe to eat raw, and most importantly has not been made from chickpeas lol. This recipe doesn't include anything fancy, just your basic cookie ingredients (minus eggs, obvs). To make it safe to consume raw, all you have to do is bake the flour for 6 minutes to kill off any bacteria. After you've done that, it really is as simple as: chuck everything in a bowl, mix ...and eat.


  • 200g plain flour (or all purpose GF)

  • 115g vegan butter

  • 110g light brown sugar

  • 80g caster sugar

  • 3tbsp plant milk

  • 2tsp vanilla paste/extract

  • 1/2tsp salt

  • 200g vegan chocolate chips


  1. Preheat your oven to 170 degrees. Grab a large baking tray and set to the side.

  2. Tip your flour straight onto the baking tray (don't use any foil/greaseproof paper) and bake for about 6 minutes.

  3. Meanwhile, cream together the butter and sugars using a whisk.

  4. Add the plant milk and vanilla and whisk again.

  5. When the flour is completely cooled, tip it in and mix it all together.

  6. Fold in your chocolate chips (or any other add-in's)

  7. Enjoy!
